Pembroke Castle was erected in 1093 and has a great and fascinating history. The fortress is set on the banks of the river estuary and remains largely intact. The main centre of attraction is its endless passages, tunnels and stairways, plus super exhibitions, which tell the tale of its medieval life.
In 2006 Pembroke Castle felt that their website was looking increasingly aged and decided to commission Web Adept to give their online brand a new lease of life. The new website needed to posses a more attractive image in order to entice new custom along with delivering a wealth of information to visitors in an enticing fashion. Furthermore, Pembroke Castle wanted the website to include an e-commerce feature to allow tickets, accessories and books to the bought online by an impulsive online market.
Our flourishing design team successfully provided Pembroke Castle with a radiant website that did their online brand image as much justice as their illustrious venue. The website includes an online booking tool to allow individuals and groups to book visits and event tickets. Pembroke Castle also have their very own content management system to allow new products, upcoming events and general information to be uploaded in house.
Risk assessments and education packs are also available to groups and schools for downloading. Having these documents available online has saved Pembroke Castle time and money from having to print and distribute these documents by hand.
